If you live in or even near Austin, TX, I think you would find this gathering about Everyday Theology, unique, meaningful, and helpful for everyday life. The gathering begins Friday evening, October 5th with a presentation by Dr. Roger Olson, of Truett Theological Seminary, on the need for embracing theology not merely as an academic exercise, but as a part of everyday life.
Roger Olson will be followed by 13 practitioners from 13 different church communities, sharing for 15 minutes, where they will explore how theology shapes our activities and thinking, not just on Sunday, but Monday through Saturday as well. The cost for this conference is just $20 if you sign up before October 1st, and it even includes a catered lunch on Saturday! Here are some of the speakers and the topics they will be sharing on.
